The Suzuki V-Strom 250 and the Kawasaki Versys-X 250 are the two to choose for multi-day trips with luggage — both include a top box and side cases at no extra charge, and both have large tanks for long range. The Honda CB150X is a lighter, simpler entry to adventure styling, and the Kawasaki D-Tracker 250 is a tall, nimble supermoto. The Frankenstein is a one-off custom build.

Popular routes for these bikes are south Bali to Ubud and Kintamani, the mountain roads of the north, and the east coast towards Amed and Tulamben.
