Who the Morbidelli C252V suits
The C252V is for riders who specifically want V-twin cruiser character. The 249 cc liquid-cooled V-twin makes about 25.8 PS (19.0 kW) and 25 Nm of torque with a 6-speed gearbox and slipper clutch. A belt drive is rare in this class: no chain lubing or tensioning and no rust from the rain.
The seat is only 690 mm, one of the lowest in the fleet, the tank holds 15.5 litres and the bike weighs about 200 kg. Dual-channel Bosch ABS and traction control are standard, with a 320 mm front disc, an inverted fork and twin shocks with five preload steps. Early press tests highlight surprisingly light handling for a long wheelbase.
The V-twin is visible beneath the tank, with chrome trim. Side cases are available as an add-on. The claimed top speed is 125 km/h, so it is a bike for relaxed riding.
When another model is a better choice
At around 200 kg the C252V is the heaviest bike in this class and is not the one to pick if you want a light bike for narrow streets. The model is very new, so there is little ownership history yet.
If you want a lighter cruiser with a parallel-twin and a Bluetooth TFT dash, look at the Keeway Road Falcon 250. Note that the deposit for this model is higher for rentals under 7 days.
